DHL Group has signed an agreement to acquire all of MNG Kargo’s shares.
DHL Group has signed an agreement to acquire the entire share (100%) of MNG Kargo, as per the joint announcement. The deal is expected to bring new momentum to Turkey’s rapidly growing e-commerce and cargo sectors.
Founded in 2003, MNG Kargo is one of the leading players in the industry with 27 transfer centers, over 800 branches, and providing employment for approximately 10,000 people. With the completed sales agreement, MNG Kargo will benefit from DHL Group’s international logistics expertise and extensive global network. It will become a part of DHL’s e-commerce division and complement DHL e-commerce’s European cargo delivery network.
Tobias Meyer, the CEO of DHL Group, commented on the matter: “We have identified sustainability, globalization, digitization, and e-commerce as mega-trends in logistics and have made them a focal point of our 2025 DHL Group Strategy. E-commerce continues to be one of the biggest growth factors for the logistics sector, particularly in terms of cargo volumes. Hence, we are constantly working to expand our footprint in the e-commerce sector through organic and inorganic growth strategies. MNG Kargo will complement our business portfolio and help us further expand our established network in this sector.”
