President Erdogan will visit Egypt after 12 years. President Erdogan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi will discuss the steps to be taken in the context of improving relations between Turkey and Egypt and revitalizing high-level bilateral cooperation mechanisms.

“Our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay an official visit to the United Arab Emirates on February 12-13, 2024 and to the Arab Republic of Egypt on February 14, 2024 in response to the invitations.
Mr. President will attend the World Summit of Governments to be held in Dubai under the theme of “Shaping the Governments of the Future” as the guest of honor on 13 February. The Summit, which brings together state and government officials from various countries, representatives of international organizations, private sector, academia, civil society, think tanks, media and business people, will be addressed as the keynote speaker.
On the occasion of the summit, Mr. President is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from the participating countries, in particular Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
The meetings to be held during the visit of our President to Cairo will focus on the steps to be taken in the context of improving relations between Turkey and Egypt and revitalizing high-level bilateral cooperation mechanisms.
In addition to bilateral relations, the talks will also include an exchange of views on current global and regional issues, particularly the Israeli attacks on Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.
