President Erdogan, in his speech at the AK Party Parliamentary Group Meeting, stated, “We will ensure that all 85 million people in Turkey receive their fair share from the increasing prosperity, growing and developing economy. We have placed heavy responsibilities on our economic management in this regard.”

President Erdogan emphasized the recent meeting of the Economic Coordination Council, chaired by Deputy President Cevdet Yılmaz, and stated, “We are determined to grow the Turkish economy through investment, employment, production, exports, and current account surplus. Protecting and enhancing the livelihoods, jobs, and bread of our citizens remains a top priority in this period. We will never allow a regression from the gains we have achieved through long struggles. While healing the wounds of earthquakes, we will take decisive steps to combat inflation. We will intensify our efforts to protect broad segments of our people from the impact of inflation.”

We will keep running until we make Turkey one of the world’s largest and one of the world’s 10 largest economies.

President Erdogan announced that they had limited the rent increase rate to 25% for renewed housing lease agreements through a temporary regulation implemented in June 2022. He also stated that they will continue the same practice for renewed housing lease agreements starting from July 2023.

“We will continue to support producers, encourage industrialists, open the way for exporters, lend a helping hand to those in need, and stand by farmers,” President Erdogan expressed. “We will tirelessly strive, without stopping, resting, or taking a break until we make Turkey one of the world’s top 10 economies. We have begun preparing our government program with the 12th Development Plan and the medium-term program to establish our roadmap. After completing our work, we will present it to the public for their appreciation.”
