Şişecam, the Turkish technology company ICRON, signed a letter of intent


Turkey’s Şişecam, the glass and glassware manufactur, has signed a letter of intent to become a partner with the Turkish technology company Icron.

According to the disclosure made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the letter of intent aims to develop Şişecam’s transformation and digitalization efforts by leveraging different capabilities and perspectives. Şişecam has been leading a comprehensive digital transformation initiative since 2018, which included the world’s most extensive project in transitioning to the new SAP platform. Şişecam manages its operations spread across a wide geographic area through holistic digitalization and operational excellence initiatives. The company is also the first in Turkey to conduct foreign trade transactions using blockchain technology.

The letter of intent signifies the intentions of both parties to enter into partnership discussions with a focus on enhancing Şişecam’s transformation and digitalization efforts and investing in innovative, digital, and promising technology companies and projects. Icron, a Turkish technology company that has been providing customer-centric optimized supply chain decision solutions since 1992, will be involved in these partnership discussions.
