The Competition Authority has decided to launch an investigation into 18 enterprises operating in the production and sale of cement and ready-mix concrete.

The Competition Authority has decided to launch an investigation into 18 enterprises, including OYAK Cement, operating in the production and sale of cement and ready-mix concrete in Hatay and Malatya provinces.

The statement from the authority mentioned that the investigation aims to determine whether these enterprises have violated Article 4 of the Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition by engaging in price fixing and dividing regions/customers collectively.

Accordingly, OYAK Cement in Hatay province, along with Çimko Cement, Ceyhan Ready Mix Concrete, M.M. Tiftik Kardeşler, Ekintaş, Kadir Soylu Beton, KÇS Kahramanmaraş Cement Concrete, Filitoğlu, and in Malatya province Acemoğulları Beton, Betontek, Çınarlar Beton, Çimbeton, Çimko Cement and Concrete, Çimya Cement, Erva Ready Mix Concrete, Kavuksan, Mabetaş Malatya Beton, and Recydia are subject to the investigation.
