In recent years, Turkey continues to attract attention with its investments in the defense industry.
Recently, Turkey successfully completed the test firing of the medium-altitude air defense missile system HİSAR-O, following the test flight of its indigenous combat aircraft KAAn a few days ago.
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) shared footage of the medium-altitude air defense missile system HİSAR-O’s firing.
The statement made from the official social media account of the Ministry of National Defense reads as follows:
“The medium-altitude air defense missile system HİSAR-O, in the inventory of our Air Defense Brigade Command, is capable of performing target detection, diagnosis, classification, tracking, command control, and firing control functions in a distributed and flexible architecture to carry out the air defense mission of critical facilities, points, and units. The system battery consists of 3 missile launchers, 1 medium-range air defense radar, 1 firing control center, and additional support units and vehicles.”
