It was announced that Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek and Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) Governor Fatih Karahan will visit Washington on April 16.
Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek will travel to the US on April 16 to attend the regular IMF-World Bank meetings.
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance to Bloomberg, Şimşek will be accompanied by Central Bank Governor Fatih Karahan.
Starting April 17, Şimşek will attend the meetings, hold bilateral meetings and meet with investors.
After his Washington visit, Şimşek will attend a separate investor meeting in New York on April 22 and return to Turkey on April 23.
