Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) published the economic confidence index for January. Accordingly, economic confidence index became 99.4 in January.
While the economic confidence index was 96.4 in December, it increased by 3.1 percent in January and became 99.4.
In January compared to the previous month, Consumer Confidence Index increased by 3.9 percent to 80.4, real sector confidence index decreased by 0.5 percent to 102.9, service sector confidence index increased by 4.0 percent to 116.8, retail trade confidence index decreased by 1.0 percent to 115.6, construction confidence index increased by 3.3 percent to 90.9.
