CBRT net reserves excluding swaps at historic low

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey’s (CBRT) net reserves excluding swaps fell to a record low of minus 65.1 billion dollars in the week to March 29.

According to CBRT data, gross reserves were 123.1 billion dollars in the week of March 29. In the previous week, gross reserves were 123.8 billion dollars.

A limited recovery was observed in net reserves. Accordingly, net reserves became 15.5 billion dollars on March 29. On March 22, net reserves were recorded as 15.2 billion dollars.

Net reserves excluding swaps recorded a historic low. According to CBRT data, net reserves excluding swaps fell to a record low of minus 65.5 billion dollars in the week of March 29. In the previous week, net reserves excluding swaps were minus 65.1 billion dollars.
