Coca Cola İçecek announced that the acquisition of Bangladesh Beverages Limited shares has been completed.
In the statement made by the Company to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), with the material event disclosure dated February 15, 2023, Coca-Cola İçecek A.Ş. (“CCI” or “Our Company”) – together with its wholly owned subsidiary CCI International Holland B.V. (“CCIHBV”) – announced that The Coca-Cola Company (“TCCC”), together with its wholly owned subsidiary CCI International Holland B.V. (“CCIHBV”) – together with its wholly owned subsidiary CCI International Holland B.V. (“CCIHBV”) – signed a share purchase agreement (“SPA”) for the acquisition of 100 percent shares in Coca-Cola Bangladesh Beverages Limited (“CCBB”), which is owned by a subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Company (“TCCC”).
In the statement, it was stated that the subject of activity is the bottling and wholesale distribution of Coca-Cola brands in Bangladesh, “The transaction was completed as of February 20, 2024 with the registration of the share transfer before the Bangladeshi authorities. The equity value will be subject to adjustment of the agreed company value based on the closing audit findings.”
It was stated that with the completion of the transaction, CCI’s direct and indirect ownership in CCBB became 100 percent.
