Yapı Kredi Bank, one of the 5 largest private banks in Turkey, made a New Year’s surprise to all its staff and decided to pay a gross bonus of 50 thousand liras.

Yesterday, after the news of Garanti BBVA’s 50 percent equal raise and improvement in premiums for all staff, Yapı Kredi Bank came with good news for its staff.

According to the news on Paramedya.com; In the first week of the new year, the bank will deposit 50 thousand lira premium to the accounts of all personnel regardless of salary and seniority.

The decision taken by the Yapı Kredi Bank’s management yesterday is expected to be notified to the staff via an e-mail today.

Yapı Kredi Bank has 796 branches covering all regions of Turkey and approximately 15.6 thousand employees. The bank had a net profit of TL 52.7 billion in 2022. Its total profit for 9 months of 2023 was 48.7 billion TL. The bank’s material average return on equity was 46 percent in the third quarter of the year. Return on equity was 56.6 percent at the end of 2022.

On the other hand, Yapı Kredi will also give the 50,000 lira bonus to security and kitchen staff. At the last minute, security guards and kitchen staff were included among those who will receive the 50,000 lira bonus with the initiatives of General Manager Gökhan Erü.
